| The Capodimonte Shoppe represents several different suppliers who each maintain their own packing policies. Our major supplier, whose product stock number begins with 'CU-', maintains the highest standard of packing and shipping. Step 1: Because of the delicate nature of Capodimonte, each piece is individually inspected. Step 2: When the inspection is complete, the Capodimonte piece is carefully set into a box that is layered with peanuts. The box is then filled with more peanuts ensuring that the piece is fully surrounded. Step 3: The box is then set upon a layer of peanuts within a larger box. The larger box is completely filled with packing peanuts for even greater insurance against breakage. Step 4: With the packing complete, the box is then labeled "glass", addressed to the recipient and sent on it's way to your home. |
